- Day 1: Pickup and Transfer from Dhaka to Khulna
Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel or the airport in Dhaka. Our representative will meet you between 4 PM and 5 PM for a smooth transfer to the railway station. At 7 PM, you’ll board the train for your journey to Khulna. Enjoy the scenic views as you travel through the countryside, experiencing the local culture along the way. Overnight accommodations will be on the train, ensuring you rest well for the exciting days ahead in the Sundarbans. Prepare for a memorable journey as you embark on this thrilling adventure!
- Day 2: Khulna to Sundarbans
Arriving in Khulna early in the morning, you’ll kick off your exciting Sundarban tour between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM from Khulna Launch Ghat. After a short transfer, you'll reach the Dhangmari Forest Office by 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, where our team will pay the necessary forest tax and meet your armed forest guard for the journey ahead. Once all formalities are complete, your boat will set sail toward the first destination: the Herbaria Mangrove Trail. Here, you’ll explore the unique ecosystem, marveling at the stunning mangroves and diverse wildlife. After your visit to Herbaria, the adventure continues as you head to Kachikhali. You’ll spend the night on the boat at the Kachikhali tourist spot, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the Sundarbans. Enjoy the evening as you settle in for a restful night, preparing for more exploration ahead!
- Day 3: Exploring Kachikhali and Katka
Start your day early with a scenic cruise along the Kachikhali channel, venturing into the forest for a closer look at its captivating beauty. After returning to the boat, you’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting off for the next destination: the Katka tourist spot. As your vessel approaches Katka, get ready to explore the stunning Katka Sea Beach and the surrounding wild forest, including the iconic Katka Watch Tower. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the sea and bask in the serene environment. After a delightful lunch, you’ll explore the office side of the largest mangrove forest, where you can take in the mesmerizing sunset views. As the day winds down, your boat will set course for the Karamjal Wildlife Centre, where you can learn about local conservation efforts. In the evening, you’ll spend the night on the boat near the Dhangmari Forest Office, surrounded by the sounds of nature, resting well for another day of adventure ahead!
- Day 4: Visit to Karamjal Wildlife Centre and Return to Khulna
Start your day early with a visit to the Karamjal Wildlife Centre. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to observe a variety of local wildlife, including spotted deer and various bird species, while learning about the essential conservation efforts underway to protect the unique ecosystem of the Sundarbans. After your enriching experience at Karamjal, it will be time to begin your return journey to Khulna. Enjoy the scenic boat ride back, taking in the beautiful landscapes and tranquil waters of the Sundarbans as you reflect on your adventures. Upon arrival in Khulna, you’ll check into your hotel for an overnight stay. Relax and unwind, perhaps enjoying a nice dinner at a local restaurant, as you prepare for your upcoming exploration of Bagerhat the next day!
- Day 5: Bagerhat Exploration
After enjoying breakfast, you’ll set off for Bagerhat, reaching your destination within an hour. Once you arrive, your full-day tour of this historical city will begin. Your first stop will be the Shait-Gumbad Mosque, renowned for its stunning nine domes and architectural significance. Next, visit the Tomb of Khan Jahan Ali, the revered saint who played a crucial role in the area's history. Continue your exploration at the Single-Domed Dargah Mosque and Thakur Dighi, before visiting the impressive Nine-Domed Mosque. Don't miss the Bagerhat Museum, where you can learn more about the rich cultural heritage of the region. Upon arriving in Dhaka early in the morning, you'll start your day with a hearty breakfast to refuel after your travels. Once you’re refreshed, our guide will assist you with your luggage and ensure a smooth transition. Depending on your travel plans, you’ll be dropped off at either Dhaka Airport for your onward flight or back at your Dhaka hotel, where you can relax and reflect on the amazing journey you’ve just completed.
